4Sportscards.com is operated by GlobalFone Technology Consultants, Inc., doing business as 4Sportscards, Queens, New York. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
- While you browse: a small cookie that remembers which items are in your cart (it contains no personal information). Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps basic technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and to keep the site running.
- When you buy: your name, email address, phone number (optional), shipping address and the details of your order.
- Payment cards: you enter your card on the secure payment page of Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
How we use it
- To process, pack and ship your order.
- To send you order and shipping emails, and to answer your questions.
- To calculate sales tax, keep business and tax records, and prevent fraud.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not send you marketing emails unless you ask us to.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers needed to run the store, and only what they need:
- Stripe — payment processing and sales-tax calculation.
- USPS and our shipping-label service — to deliver your order.
- Amazon Web Services — to send order and shipping emails.
- Our web hosting provider — which stores the website and its data.
We may also share information if required by law.
Cookies
We use only the cart cookie described above. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may add a small performance-monitoring script to our pages.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as tax and accounting laws require (generally up to 7 years), then delete them.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing john@globalfonetc.com. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights; we will honor them.
Children
Our store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Security
Our site uses encrypted (HTTPS) connections, and sensitive settings are stored encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Changes
We may update this policy and will post the new version here with its effective date.
